Poet K Satchidanandan took to social media to criticizes 'Joji' directed by Dileesh Pothen with Fahad Faasil in the lead role. The poet said in a social media post that he did not know if Shakespeare is gnashing his teeth or laughing out from his grave because of the film, which was inspired by 'Macbeth'.

The poet says that he sees the problem not in the details of the film, but in the ideas themselves. The poet also criticized that 'Joji' has the same theme as seen in many movies.

But the film, which was released through the Amazon Prime Video OTT platform, is getting good responses from the audience and critics.

The film is scripted by Shyam Pushkaran and directed by Dileesh Pothen. Apart from Fahad, the film also stars Baburaj, Unnimaya, Shammi Thilakan, Basil Joseph and PN Sunny in the lead roles.
