THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Speaker P Sreeramakrishnan has confirmed that he was interrogated by the Customs at his official residence. The speaker said that the Customs team came to his official residence after inquiring about his convenience and that he had already informed that he was ready to give an explanation for all the controversies. The speaker was questioned in connection with the dollar smuggling case.

Sreeramakrishnan informed the customs that he had not handed over a bag containing the money. He also stated that he knew Swapna Suresh as a consulate officer and had a friendship with her. However, no financial transaction had taken place. The speaker also informed that the bag with the seal of the assembly had been given as a gift to many. The speaker made this clear during a five-hour-long interrogation yesterday.
