PALAKKAD: Police have arrested five people in connection with the attack on a movie set in Palakkad. The arrested are Kadambazhippuram natives Subrahmanyan, Babu, Sreejith, Sachidanandan and Sabareesh. They are all RSS activists. The case was registered under the sections of trespassing, unlawful assembly and incitement to violence.

Earlier on Saturday, the RSS workers had created a ruckus during the shooting of the Malayalam film 'Neeyam Nadi' which was based on a Hindu-Muslim love story. The shooting was taking place on the premises of Vayillyamkunnu Bhagavathy temple. The crew members said that shooting equipment was destroyed by RSS workers. They also said that RSS workers had even threatened that they won’t allow shooting the film, which talks about Hindu-Muslim love story anywhere in the district.
