KOCHI: Shinu, paternal Uncle of Vyga, the 13 year-old-girl who died by drowning, has come out with some new revelations. He said that his brother Sanu Mohan has no role in the death of Vyga and some others are involved in the death case.
Shinu Mohan has also demanded a detailed and independent probe over the case. “My brother had lived for his family. He had certain financial issues and cases in Pune. He didn’t have any ties with relatives in the past five years,” he said.
“Three days before the death of Vyga, some persons had visited Sanu in his flat in Kochi. Sanu had borrowed money from them earlier. But they talked with him outside the flat. Sanu’s wife has told me this,” Shinu Mohan said.
Meanwhile, sources say Sanu Mohan is absconding with Rs 30 lakh, which was collected from different individuals including his wife. As he has the money, there is no need to use ATM and credit cards. This also enables him to live under a different identity. This also puts the police in a difficult position to trace him.
Police have again searched the Sanu’s flat. A police team led by Kochi DCP Aishwarya Dongre has searched the flat for long hours yesterday and also talked with Sanu’s neighbours.
