PALAKKAD: A number of identity cards were found abandoned at Ottapalam in Palakkad district. The identity cards were found abandoned near the Sub-Registrar's office. It is learnt that the identity cards belong to ten people from the Azhiyannur area of ​​Kadampazhipuram panchayat.

It was some of the locals who informed the police about the identity cards. Ottapalam sub-collector Arjun Pandyan said an inquiry has been launched regarding the addresses in the cards. The preliminary conclusion is that these are old documents that were taken back when the new cards were issued.
