THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Rajya Sabha elections in Kerala will be held on April 30. The notification of the Election Commission in this regard will be issued tomorrow. Submission of nomination papers will also start tomorrow.

The High Court had directed that the Rajya Sabha elections in Kerala should be held within the term of the present Assembly. The court made this clear in an interim order. The court issued the order on a petition filed by the CPM and the assembly secretary. Following this, the Election Commission released the date of the Rajya Sabha elections.
