KANNUR: The mother of Ratheesh, the second accused in the Mansoor murder case, has alleged that the Muslim League was responsible for her son's suicide. While accusing the Muslim League of conspiring to include Ratheesh's name in the list of accused, Rathesh's mother Padmini Kooloth added that her son committed suicide due to mental distress following the false accusation. Padmini Kuloth has lodged a complaint with the DGP seeking action against the League activists responsible for this.

"Ratheesh had said that he was beaten by League activists on election day. He was extremely sad after knowing that his name was included in the list of accused. Muslim League activists in the area conspired to include his name in the list of accused as they knew that he would commit suicide if he was named an accused in a murder case," Padmini said.
