THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KPCC president Mullapally Ramachandran has said that a major restructuring will occur in the party after assembly polls. K Sudhakaran’s demand for a total change in the organisational set up will be accepted in a positive sense.

He also said that there is widespread criticism among party members on the absence of senior leaders in the poll campaign and the party will enquire about such allegations in detail if written complaints are received. “I was not at all satisfied with the previously held reorganisation in the party. I wished for party reorganisation to be implemented in a better way but it was not carried out effectively because of political pressure from all directions,” Mullapally said.

K Sudhakaran has earlier said that most of the KPCC office-bearers who had charge of different constituencies are unsuccessful and have committed serious lapses in campaign activities. He also demanded that such inefficient persons should be removed from responsibilities and efficient workers should be appointed in their place.
