THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Speaker Sreeramakrishnan, who is undergoing treatment for Covid-19, has been admitted in the ICU. He has been admitted in the ICU after confirmed of pneumonia along with Covid. However, doctors said his health condition is satisfactory.

He was admitted in the ICU as he has heart problems. A special medical board has been formed to observe his health condition.

He was confirmed of the virus on Saturday. The speaker who was on quarantine in his official residence was later shifted to the medical college hospital. The customs team had questioned him on Friday in the dollar smuggling case. Following that, a raid was conducted at his flat in Pettah. Although he was asked to appear on Thursday, he failed to appear citing health issues. In a test conducted on Saturday, he was confirmed of the virus.
