THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: There is a warning of heavy rains and winds in the state today and tomorrow. Yellow alert has been sounded in three districts today. The yellow alert has been issued in Idukki, Malappuram and Wayanad.

The Central Meteorological Department said that there will be yellow alert in Idukki tomorrow as well. The Central Meteorological Department has forecast isolated showers of 64.5 mm to 115.5 mm per hour in the next 24 hours. The Central Meteorological Department has forecast heavy rains with thunderstorms and winds of 30 to 40 kmph.
