ABU DHABI: Noted industrialist M A Yusuff Ali underwent a spinal surgery. A 25-member team from Germany led by famous neuro surgeon Dr Amr El Shawarbi performed the surgery at Burjeel Hospital in Abu Dhabi. Yusuff is recovering after the surgery, informed Lulu Group Communications director V Nanda Kumar.

The copter carrying Yusuff Ali and his family crash landed in a marshy area at Panangad in Kochi on Sunday. He returned to Abu Dhabi on Monday. He later underwent a medical examination.
