Producer and actor Prithviraj has revealed the release date of 'Kuruthi' through a Facebook post. The film is being produced by Prithviraj Productions and is slated to release on May 13.

"In theatres 13th May 2021.
PS: We at Prithviraj Productions and Team #Kuruthi hope and pray that we are able to overcome the 2nd wave of this pandemic that has hit us, and things will be back to some semblance of normalcy soon", Prithviraj wrote on Facebook.

The film is directed by debutant Manu Warrier. Apart from Prithviraj the film also stars Murali Gopi, Shine Tom Chacko, Manikandan, Mamukoya, Navas Vallikunnu, Naslin Gafoor, Sagar Surya and Srinivasan. The film is scripted by Aneesh Palliyal and the cinematography is by Abhinandan Ramanuja. The music is composed by Jakes Bejoy with lyrics by Rafeeq Ahmed and Sajesh Hari.
