Actress Parvathy Thiruvothu has slammed the BJP and Union Minister Amit Shah for conducting election campaigns and roadshows in West Bengal while the spread of COVID-19 is intensifying across the country. Parvathy took to Instagram to criticize Union Minister Amit Shah's public meetings and roadshows in Bengal today. 'Yes please tell me once again that this government cares. Please,' the actress wrote sarcastically.

Earlier, the actress had come out against the Kumbh Mela. Parvathy asked why those who had come out with criticism against the Tabligh Jamaat are not raising their voice against the Kumbh Mela during the second wave of Covid. Parvathy also shared on Instagram the news that more than 100 people who attended the Kumbh Mela were infected with COVID.
