THRISSUR: The meet to be held on today morning at 10.30 am to discuss regulations to be followed for Thrissur pooram postponed. The meeting has been postponed to today evening 4.30 pm. The meet will be held online.

Whereas the devaswoms will inform the authorities that implementing string regulations will reduce the sheen of Pooram. The devasoms will present demands such as, excluding mahouts from RT-PCR tests, limiting the tests to those mahouts who have symptoms, allowing those who have taken a single dose of vaccine to the pooram ground etc before the chief secretary.

Thrissur district collector, DMO and commissioner will take part in the meeting. Meanwhile, former MLA Therambil Ramakrishnan has alleged that the government has cheated both Devaswoms in the name of conducting Poorams.
