THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala government on Monday announced a night curfew from Tuesday onwards in the wake of the recent surge in COVID cases. The night curfew will come into effect from 9 pm to 5 am starting tomorrow. The government has also decided to resume work from home facility. The decision was taken at a high-level meeting held today.

The curfew has been announced for two weeks. There will not be any restrictions on public transport. Private tuition centers will not be allowed to open. Only online classes will be allowed. Movie theatres and malls will remain open only till 7.30 pm. The Chief Secretary's order on curfew instructions will be issued soon.
