THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state government has decided to conduct yet another mass testing in the state in the wake of the recent surge in COVID cases. 3 lakh people will be subjected to the COVID test on Wednesday and Thursday. The decision was taken at a meeting convened by the Chief Secretary.

The meeting suggested that the health department should place more emphasis on identifying and testing those who come in contact with patients in local self-governing institutions with high test positivity rates.

Gathering and celebrations won't be allowed on the day of the counting of votes. Those going to places of worship must book in advance.
