THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The health department has revised the quarantine and isolation guidelines for those confirmed with Covid-19 in the state. Those who are diagnosed with the disease will be treated as prescribed by the doctor. Those who are cured are advised not to make unnecessary trips or social gatherings until seven days later.
High-Risk Primary Contact
Room quarantine for 14 days at home or establishment
Contact DISHA 1056 or your nearest health worker if you notice any symptoms
If there are no symptoms, perform an RTPCR test on the eighth day. Even if the result is negative, the quarantine should be continued for another 7 days
Low-Risk Primary Contact
Avoid unnecessary trips for 14 days and strictly adhere to wearing a mask, hand hygiene, and hygiene during coughing and sneezing.
Avoid social interactions such as weddings, other ceremonies, work and visits
Contact DISHA 1056 or the nearest health worker if you notice any symptoms
Asymptomatic Secondary Contacts
Those who have been in contact with people from countries or regions where there has been the community or regional transmission.

International travelers coming to Kerala
Upon arrival in Kerala, RTPCR test should be done as per the Central Government guidelines and stay at home in isolation. Seek treatment according to the test results and stay in quarantine for seven days if the test is negative.
Interstate travelers, including those arriving in Kerala for business purposes
Must register on the e-vigilance portal.
Must produce RTPCR negative test result taken within last 48 hours.
Those who have not undergone RTPCR inspection should undergo RTPCR inspection as soon as they arrive in Kerala and remain in the room quarantine till the result is received.
If the RTPCR test result is negative, follow the Covid norms such as wearing a mask, cleaning your hands and keeping a social distance.
If the RTPCR test is not done, stay in room quarantine for 14 days.
