THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: DYFI state secretary AA Rahim has said that the central government has shied away from its responsibility to provide universal and free vaccination. "The Modi government is like scarecrow while the country gasps for breath. But Kerala is an alternative, a model. The state government has guaranteed free vaccine for all", Rahim said.

Rahim wrote on Facebook that Kerala is moving forward without waiting for the Centre's decisions.

Rahim said DYFI would be a participant in the vaccine challenge. Today, the Chief Minister has officially requested individuals, organizations and institutions to be part of this mission. Following this, Rahim announced on Facebook that DYFI would be participating in the initiative.
