THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that Covid-19 is spreading in all parts of the state. Speaking to the media, the CM said that Kerala is not in a state of panic as seen in the northern states. He also said that legal action would be taken against those who spread false propaganda and that the media should be vigilant against such people.
People should be vigilant during the Covid period. The Chief Minister reminded the people to be careful so as to avoid gatherings and maintain social distance and not make mistakes on their own. The government held talks with private hospitals in the state. The CM also said that private hospitals have given their full support in the fight against COVID. The CM also demanded that 25 percent of the beds in hospitals should be reserved for COVID patients. The number of beds should be increased on a wartime basis. The number of beds made each day should be reported to the Department of Health.
ICUs and ventilators should be repaired and prepared. The CM also asked the ambulance owners and service providers to work together.
