WAYANAD: A health worker has died of COVID in Wayanad. Ashwathy, a temporary lab technician at Mananthavady District Hospital, died on the way to Kozhikode Medical College. She was 25 years old.

Ashwathy had been undergoing treatment at Bathery Taluk Hospital since last night. When her condition worsened on Monday morning, she was referred to the Kozhikode Medical College Hospital. However, she died on the way to the hospital. It is learnt that Ashwathy had been suffering from kidney-related ailments.
