Earlier. the order issued by the government had only stated that the bars will be closed. However, Bevco MD said the decision was taken to shut down the outlets after the Chief Minister clarified that Bevco outlets would not be opened.

During his press conference, the CM said that bars, gyms, cinema theaters, shopping malls, clubs, sports complexes, swimming pools, amusement parks, and foreign liquor outlets would be temporarily shut down due to the spread of COVID-19.
