THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala received 2,20,000 doses of Covishield vaccine by Tuesday night. The vaccines, which were delivered to Thiruvananthapuram, will be distributed to other districts as well.

Six and a half lakh doses of vaccine (five and a half lakh doses of Covishield and one lakh doses of Covaxin) had reached Kerala on the 22nd of this month. The Thiruvananthapuram region was given 2.5 lakh doses of Covishield and 1 lakh doses of Covaxin.

One and a half lakh doses of Covishield vaccine were handed over to Kochi and Kozhikode regions. Following this, 2.5 lakh more vaccines have now reached Kerala.
