THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Former DGP R Sreelekha came down heavily on the Museum Police for ignoring her complaint. The former IPS officer retired from the police force recently. She via a Facebook post wrote openly about the neglect she faced from the museum police. Her post said that she became a victim of an online financial fraud and the complaint lodged was ignored by the police.

She said that she had faced a similar situation from the museum police earlier also. This time after lodging the complaint, she called them directly and requested them to probe the case. However, she alleged that the police failed to consider her complaint. She asked what would be the condition of the common people within the museum station limits. Meantime, the Museum police have denied her allegation. The police said she had informed them of having sent a compliant via e-mail but have not obtained it so far.
