Actor Hareesh Peradi has requested Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan to give the cultural department in good hands. Drama and cinema should be left in the hands of the youth.The permanent worms in the Chalachitra Academy should be pulled out. Hareesh also wrote on Facebook that if possible, a special drama academy should be set up for dramatists, just like K Rail does.

People like Shailaja, who risked her life to create an organization called Natak, should be brought to the head of the Nataka Academy. People like Parvathy, who spoke out against the worms in cinema, should come to the top of the film academy. Hareesh says in his Facebook post that this is something that not only he but the whole of progressive Kerala wants.
