THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Four panchayats in Kerala have recorded a COVID transmission rate of 100 percent. The test positivity rate was 100 in Panavoor panchayat in Thiruvananthapuram, Kumbadaje, Paivalike and Vorkady panchayats in Kasargod. With the TPR crossing 50 per cent in 58 panchayats in 11 districts, the lockdown is likely to be extended.

Other panchayats with extreme spread are: Ernakulam Chendamangalam (TPR 90), Malappuram Thenjipalam (79), Palakkad Perungottukurisi (76), Ernakulam Chottanikkara (72) and Mulavukadu (70).
