THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Heavy winds and rains have caused severe damage to KSEB across the state. Even high voltage lines were interrupted. Hundreds of posts have broken as trees fell. Alappuzha is the worst hit. Damage were also reported in Kollam, Thiruvananthapuram and Ernakulam districts.

KSEB's priority is to rectify the damages in the 11 KV line. Then the faults in the low tension lines supplying power to the customers will be rectified. KSEB also informed that personal complaints will be resolved only after that.
