THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Admission to public schools for the 2021-22 academic year will begin today. It was also decided to give class promotions to all students from one to nine.

Class promotion procedures must be completed within May 25. Class teachers should contact the students who are entering new classes by phone in order to review learning activities. This should be completed within May 30 and a report must be submitted to the headmaster.

Parents can apply for admission online through the Sampoorna portal (www.sampoorna.kite.kerala.gon.in). Admission can be taken over the phone as well. Related documents for admission may be brought to school after the lockdown is withdrawn. Temporary admission should be given to those who are unable to submit any documents. The application for the release certificate can also be submitted online through the Sampoorna portal.
