THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Against the backdrop of vaccine shortage, the state government has called a global tender to procure 3 crore doses of Covid vaccine. The tender has already come into force. When the tender opens on June 5, it will be clear which companies are competing. The tender has been called by the Kerala Medical Services Corporation on behalf of the state government.
Kerala started looking for new ways to get the vaccine as it did not get the required vaccine from the Central Government. Earlier, the CM had said that the purchase of the vaccine was in full swing.
