​​​​​KOCHI: Actor and Congress candidate from Balussery, Dharmajan Bolgatty has alleged in a complaint filed before the KPCC leadership that a huge sum of money was collected under his name before the polls in the constituency. He also alleged that the money collection was undertaken under the leadership of a KPCC secretary and it was misappropriated by other leaders.

Dharmajan has earlier said that he failed in Balussery due to organisational lapses. Congress didn’t secure enough votes in those panchayats where it could have got a majority. He also added that he lost those votes due to the organisation's lapse and had brought these things to the KPCC president’s attention.
