THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan had congratulated VD Satheesan on being selected as the Leader of the Opposition at a press meet. When asked how he rates Ramesh Chennithala as the former Leader of the Opposition, the Chief Minister replied through another question. He asked whether his assessment is required in the midst of Chennithala's distress. He added that it is better not to do it.

VD Satheesan's performance in the Opposition and in the House is excellent. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said he hopes he will be a good opposition leader in that regard.
