KOZHIKODE: A journalist of Asianet News was removed from the press conference of BJP state president K Surendran. The journalist of the news channel was expelled from the press conference held at the BJP district committee office in Kozhikode Thali.

The leaders asked the Asianet representative to leave before the start of the press conference. The journalist was expelled from the press conference as part of the party's channel boycott.

Earlier, it was reported that Union Minister V Muraleedharan a representative of the same channel was removed from an official press conference in Delhi.

On May 10, the BJP said that Asianet News continuously tries to insult and ridicule the BJP through its programs. The BJP had said that the channel was carrying out anti-national activities and had violated all the boundaries.
