Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan congratulated the Malayalee woman commercial pilot Jeny Jerome. His response was via a Facebook post. Jeny flew her maiden flight from Sharjah to her hometown Thiruvananthapuram yesterday. A native of Kochuthura, she was the co-pilot of Air Arabia flight.

The life of Jeny, who made her dream come true is a great inspiration to women and ordinary people. It also creates a social awareness of gender equality. The family who supported her wishes is also a role model for the community.
