THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Vadakara MLA K K Rema has said that she has taken up a big responsibility. She also added that it will be fulfilled justly and the rest of her life will be devoted to the people of Vadakara.

“I am proud and happy. I have taken up a big responsibility. Will discharge my duties justly. I will function as the voice of my people in the Assembly and will also take up their problems. What matters is our opinion and not on the strength of the party,” K K Rema said.

K K Rema has earlier said that she is not concerned over the brute majority of CPM in the assembly and whatever needs to be opposed will be criticised severely. Rema seized the Vadakara seat from LDF’s Manayath Chandran with a majority of 7,491 votes.
