THRISSUR: The investigating team has found that it was the BJP district leadership who arranged accommodation in Thrissur for the robbery gang in the Kodakara hawala money case. The hotel employee told media that they have told the police that the room was booked in the hotel from the BJP district committee office.

The rooms were booked at the Hotel National Tourist Home on April 2 at 7 pm. Rooms 215 and 216 were booked. Dharmarajan stayed in Room No 215 and Shamjeer and Rasheed in 216. The investigation team has recorded the statement of the employee.

The investigation team has taken the hotel records and the CCTV. Dharmarajan and driver Shamjeer will be questioned again today. The two have been asked to appear at the police club.

The probe team has decided to proceed with the move to question BJP general secretary M Ganesh and Girish, the acting secretary of the state committee office, in the case. The two is expected to appear in two days. The BJP Alappuzha district treasurer K G Kartha was questioned in Alappuzha yesterday.
