KOLLAM: A COVID patient fell from the third floor of a private hospital in Kadavoor and died. The deceased has been identified as Panayam native Raghavan Achary (72). The incident occurred around 3.30 am on Sunday. Raghavan had been undergoing treatment at the hospital.

Even though Ragahavan was given immediate first aid and rushed to Paripally Medical College Hospital, he succumbed to his injuries by around 8 am. It is not clear how the fall occurred.
