THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Six MEMU services on Kollam-Alappuzha, Alappuzha-Ernakulam, and Ernakulam-Shornur routes, which were suspended due to lockdown, will resume service today.

The Kochuveli-Nilambur Rajyarani Daily Express and the weekly trains Thiruvananthapuram-Nizamuddin, Kochuveli-Indore Ahilyanagari, Nagercoil-Gandhidham, Puducherry-Kanyakumari, Nagercoil-Chennai, and Coimbatore-Nagercoil will also resume service from Wednesday. The Kochuveli-Lokmanya Tilak Bi-weekly Express will also resume service today.

The Railway also informed that Daily express trains such as Madurai-Punalur and Chennai Egmore-Guruvayur will resume services to Thiruvananthapuram. No reservation is required for MEMU services.
