KOCHI: Ravi Poojary has said that a Gunda leader from Perumbavoor has given him the quotation in the Kochi beauty parlour case. Sources say that police will nab the Gunda leader soon. Ravi Poojary has earlier revealed to police that he carried out the transactions for the quotation via Kasargod native Jiya and Mysore native Gulam.

It was Gulam who informed Ravi Poojary about the quotation via phone. Ravi Poojary has also said that he had called Leena Maria Paul via phone thrice. He tried to contact her through WhatsApp calls.

Police says that Jiya is still on the run. The probe officials also suspect Ravi Poojary’s role in the murder of two goonda gang leaders in Kerala. Kerala police have received custody of Ravi Poojary until June 8th. On Monday, the crime branch will submit the plea seeking extension of custody before the court.
