THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Soon after Praseeda exposed more evidences against K Surendran, the rebel leaders of the BJP decided not to sit idle. They are planning to approach the central leadership pointing the incidents that happened in the state leadership recently. What is happening in the state leadership is tarnishing nationalism, patriotism and anti-money laundering stance that the party upholds at the national level. Their aim is to convince national leaders the party’s present situation after collecting more evidences. BJP sources said they have already started ways to gain support from Sangh Parivar movements.
The rebels are likely to intensify their move after communicating with senior leaders like O Rajagopal and C K Padmanabhan. The main agenda is to convince the central leadership without publicly demanding Surendran's resignation. In the meanwhile, the rebels have received information that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is furious on the black money controversy in Kerala. The rebels are seeking ways to present an accurate report to the Prime Minister in a situation where he has asked to provide clear information on the issues in Kerala.
The rebels are collecting information that some party leaders have formed a special corridor for smuggling of hawala money on the Karnataka-Kerala route. The rebel leaders said there is a mystery behind handing over the responsibility of handling election materials to someone like Dharmarajan, who has a criminal background since age of twelve. They are raising evidence that Dharmarajan is a major intermediary in money laundering.
The rebels raise the allegation that the leaders used Dharmarajan's services to concoct document in black money and to assure participation in various trades using his influence in the central government. The rebels who found that Dharmarajan secured the sub contract to supply stones for the construction of the Vizhinjam port, have collected the financial dealings behind it. It is alleged that the agreement was signed in the name of a Kozhikode-based paper company and many top big-wigs have intervened in it.
The rebel leaders share the information that even when the Karnataka government closed all check posts to Kerala to prevent the spread of Covid during assembly elections, there was a deliberate intervention to open only the Thalappadi check post to enter Kerala from Mangalore. The rebel faction of the party claimed that the money stolen after creating an accident in Kodakara is BJP’s money.
The rebels alleged that the state leadership's interactions with the central leadership brought the party to this stage in Kerala. It is alleged that they played an important role in convincing the Centre on the flow of crores into Kerala and that there would be a hung assembly in Kerala and that the BJP would be a decisive force.
