ROME: Italy made a winning start in the opening match of Euro 2020 as they comfortably beat Turkey 3-0 at the Olympic Stadium in Rome.

Turkey’s Merih Demiral turned the ball into his own net to hand Italy the lead in the 53rd minute as Ciro Immobile doubled it in the 66th minute and Lorenzo Insigne made it 3-0 in the 79th minute in their opening game of Euro 2020.
