THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Tuesday said that the threat issued against him by BJP leader AN Radhakrishan can be seen as a warning that the government should intervene and end the systematic investigation against Surendran in the hawala case. The Chief Minister was responding to the statement made by Radhakrishnan during a protest led by BJP leaders.

On Tuesday morning, AN Radhakrishnan had stated that Pinarayi Vijayan would not be able to sleep peacefully in his home and that he would have to visit his children in jail if he continues to hunt down BJP state president K Surendran.

"The BJP leader seems to be saying that his party will trap all those who are leading the administration of this state if we go ahead with the investigation. This is a public threat against the Chief Minister of Kerala. Their intention is clear. They want me to intervene in the wrong way to end the ongoing investigation. This should be taken seriously by the public and especially the media," the CM said.
