THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The big task ahead is to bring the party back to power, said K Sudhakaran, who will be taking charge as KPCC chief Wednesday. He said his big mission is to bring the party which has been alienated from the public back to power. The main goal is to wipe out jumbo committees, he added.
Sudhakaran while talking to a channel said, ‘I don’t think Oommen Chandy and Ramesh Chennithala seem to be dissatisfied with the new leadership. If there are any problems, it will be discussed and resolved when they arise.’
K Sudhakaran will take over as KPCC chief at Indira Bhavan between 11 am and 11.30 am today. Kodikunnil Suresh MP, MLAs P T Thomas and T Siddique will also take charge as new working presidents.
Sudhakaran paid homage to Gandhi Statue at East Fort at 10 am. He later paid floral tributes at the Martyrs Column in Palayam. He will receive a guard of honour by Seva Dal volunteers at KPCC office.
