KOLLAM: The police arrested an ambulance driver for allegedly attempting to sexually abuse a Covid patient’s relative. He has been identified as Sajikuttan of Chavara Naduvathucheri Thekkumbaghom. The incident happened on the night of June 3. He was arrested following the complaint received by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.

The Covid patient was undergoing treatment at home. He tried to sexually abuse her while shifting the patient to the hospital after her condition turned worse. He brought the patient to the nearest primary health centre. The man, who went inside the hospital to take the gloves,
