THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: An aged woman was hacked to death by her neighbour in the capital city. The woman has been identified as Sarojam, a native of Cheeranikkara in Vembayam. The police have taken the youth identified as Baiju into custody. The incident happened Tuesday morning at 2 am.

Sarojam took a machete when Baiju came to their house in an inebriated condition. He grabbed that machete from her and hacked her to death. He hacked her on her face and neck. The Vattappara police took him into custody as soon as the incident happened.
