KANNUR: KK Rema MLA has lashed out at the CPM over the non-arrest of the CPM local leader and DYFI leader in Vadakara in the incident of molestation of a colleague. According to Rema, the CPM's decision not to order for the arrest of culprits was objectionable.

'The CPM is not facing a crisis that can be simply washed away with a single statement that the party has no links with the culprits or that they have been expelled. The way the party handled the two allegations of assault in Kannur and Palakkad shows that a person, who has committed a crime, can remain in the party if he is close to some leaders of the party,' Rema wrote on her Facebook page.
