THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Officers of the AG’s office sustained hack injuries when they questioned the attack towards their wives. The incident happened last night at 9.30 pm at Pettah in the capital city. Ravi Yadav, senior accountant of AG’s office and data entry operator Jaswant are the two who sustained injuries.

Bike borne goons attacked the officials when they were out for a walk with their families. The goons first caught their wives and when they questioned it hacked them.

A case has been registered and an investigation has started. Police recovered the weapon used to attack the officials, from the spot. Police said the attack on top officials in the capital city is a serious incident. Police said they have received information about the accused.

Ravi Yadav sustained injuries on his hand and fingers. Jaswant sustained injuries on his legs. They also threatened to hack the children. They were later rushed to Fort Hospital by the police. The officials said the attackers threatened them even after returning from the hospital. They left the place after creating an atmosphere of terror.
