THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The party secretariat has assessed that a conspiracy is being hatched against the CPM in connection with the Kannur gold smuggling related to the Ramanattukara road accident. The CPM has never taken an approach that facilitates any criminal activity. Those with such tendencies are not allowed to join the party. Despite the fact that there is no compromise between those who commit crimes and those who do wrong, the media-backed campaign against the CPM is a malicious conspiracy.

The statement added that it was reprehensible for anyone to use speech or material on social media as an authoritative document against the CPM.
