THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The new restrictions and exemptions in lockdown came into effect from midnight yesterday. The restrictions are based on Covid positivity rates ranging between six, twelve, eighteen percent and above. Full restrictions will continue in the state on Saturday and Sunday.

• Local body offices in A and B categories can work with up to 50 percent staff. 25% of employees in C category
• Temples can be opened with a maximum of 15 people in A and B categories
• Examinations can be held on Saturdays and Sundays at all categories
• Indoor shooting of television serials in A and B categories will be allowed
• Vehicles will not have stops in C and D categories
