THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state confirmed 12,095 COVID-19 cases on Friday. Among these, 11,363 persons developed the disease through contact, including 606 cases without an identified source of infection. 68 persons, who came from outside the state, tested positive for the virus. 58 health workers contracted the disease on Friday.

10,243 patients tested negative for the virus today. As of now, there are 1,03,764 active cases in the state.

The state confirmed 146 deaths due to the virus on Friday with the toll rising to 13,505.

Malappuram 1553, Kollam 1271, Kozhikode 1180, Thrissur 1175, Ernakulam 1116, Thiruvananthapuram 1115, Palakkad 1098, Alappuzha 720, Kannur 719, Kasargod 708, Kottayam 550, Pathanamthitta 374, Wayanad 300, Idukki 216.

1,19,659 samples were tested in the last 24 hours. The test positivity rate stands at 10.11.
