KOCHI: Industry Minister P Rajeev on Saturday said that government will not interfere in any institution in the wrong way. The minister also said that the government does not intend to conduct surprise inspections.

"The government's approach is positive. Kitex should have taken drastic action only if the government had failed to take any action. I had called Kitex management on the 28th. Sabu is always busy when called. So I called his brother and talked to him," the minister said.

"Kitex will be accepted even if it comes with a Rs 3,500 crore project. The actions of the government are not meant to settle a political score. It does not have to be mixed with Twenty20," he added.
