THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Vigilance’ preliminary probe against KPCC chief K Sudhakaran. The probe is on the complaint filed by his former driver Prashanth Babu raising allegations of corruption against him. Vigilance director issued the order for the probe.

K Sudhakaran and Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan had engaged in a war or words over some past incidents. It was in this context Sudhakaran's former driver Prashant levelled financial irregularities against him.

Prashanth had alleged there were some financial irregularities in connection with K Karunakaran trust. The irregularities were noticed in the construction of Kannur DCC office. He himself had lodged a complaint with the vigilance.

The vigilance decided to conduct a preliminary investigation based on the complaint. The vigilance has decided to conduct a further probe if truth found in the preliminary probe.
